Kerry Robinson

A native of St. Louis, Mo., Robinson started at an early age playing baseball for N.Y.A. (National Youth Association) in St. Louis,  Mo. Robinson graduated from Hazelwood East High School and was a three sport star, and holds the highest career batting average (.517) in school history, and also for goals scored (29) on the ice hockey team. He went on to attend Southeast Missouri State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, with an emphasis in Sports Management. Kerry was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in 1995.  In 1996, he led the Midwest League with a .359 batting average and 50 stolen bases (a tie) and was second in the league in hits, triples, and runs while playing for Single-A Peoria. He played for a number of teams before returning to St. Louis to play again with the Cardinals. He was a apart of the two St. Louis Cardinal playoff teams. Kerry is known as the hero from the book “Three Nights In August” where he delivered a game-winning, walk-off home run. In addition to playing, Kerry also served as an analyst for Fox Sports Midwest and KFNS 590 Radio during the 2005 and 2006 World Championship seasons. After a brief stint in the financial services industry, he joined E3 Consultants Group in 2010 to support the firm’s client relations efforts. He now works as a pro scout in the baseball operations department where he contributed to the 2011 World Championship St. Louis Cardinals. Kerry is passionate about consulting to improve business in the St. Louis market and to share his story to inspire others to grow and achieve their dreams.
